About Us

Wawasee Metal Fab was built from the ground up with hard work, determination, and a passion for creating something meaningful. What started in 2018 with a single welder and a few projects for family and friends quickly grew into something more. As word spread, it became clear there was a real need in the Syracuse area for dependable, high-quality metal fabrication—and Wawasee Metal Fab was officially established in 2021 to meet that need.

Owner Olen Borkholder has been hands-on from the very beginning, and that hasn’t changed. Today, he still works on every project that comes through the shop, making sure each piece reflects the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that the business was built on. For Olen, it’s not just about getting the job done—it’s about getting it done right. And if something isn’t exactly how a customer envisioned, he’s committed to making it right.
